Brand Identity
The Break
Brand identity concept developed for South Australia’s state-of-the-art, purpose built surf park located in West Beach.
I took visual queues from Australian surf brands and culture, vibrant colour palettes, simple artistic iconography, interesting and bespoke typography, textural patterns and hand-drawn elements.
The icons represent different values of The Break. They are an important part the visual language – their textured hand-drawn nature gives an earthy and authentic feel.
The icons can be used over imagery, made intoa pattern, or used to contain imagery. They could also be used as icons on buttons on the website or an app.
The colour palette references the sky, sea and land and Australian surf culture.
